The Nissan Patrol GTurbo TD42 TD-G400 Blue Wheel is a turbocharger designed to provide outstanding performance upgrades for your TD42 engine, which was previously unavailable in the market. It offers “bolt-on” performance improvements that include high boost levels (up to 42psi if required) and low backpressure. The turbo is also responsive in the lower RPM range, resulting in greater efficiency and lower peak cylinder pressure compared to operating at the same boost level.

• 37% Higher Power: The turbo offers a 37% increase in power with leaner Air-to-Fuel ratios.
• Efficiency and Fuel Economy: It may have a small sacrifice in bottom-end response (150-200rpm) but offers more power and improved fuel economy in all driving modes.
• Boost Range: The turbo’s peak boost is 42psi, and it can efficiently operate between 18 to 42psi, depending on the supporting performance parts installed in the engine system.

Performance Expectations:

• A standard TD42T produces approximately 380Nm of engine torque and 80kW at the wheels on standard tires.
• With the Blue Wheel turbo and a customized tune of the factory injection pump (while in the car), you can expect 600Nm of engine torque and 150-160kW at the wheels.
• Installations with additional upgrades such as a large intercooler, 3” exhaust, custom injection pump, and an upgraded airbox and air feed to the turbo can yield results as high as 250kW at the wheels and torque over 1000Nm at the crankshaft.

Turbo Specifications:

• The Bad Boy Extreme Vortex II Blue Wheel turbo has a round mouth 3.5” entry and 2” exit.
• The oil line fitting supplied with the turbo consists of a JIC 4mm connector for the pressure feed and a ¾” hose tail for the outlet drain.
